Biography: Huilong Fei received his B.S. degree (2011) in Materials Chemistry from China University of Geoscience (Wuhan) and Ph.D. degree (2015) in Chemistry from Rice University. Then, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in University of California, Los Angeles (2015-2018). After that, he is a faculty member at College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineeringin Hunan University. His research interest mainly focuses on the controllable synthesis and rational design of nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications.

Biography: Gonglan Ye received her B.S. degree (2010) and M.S. degree (2012) in Materials Science from China University of Geoscience (Wuhan) and Ph.D. degree (2017) in Materials Science and Nanoengineering from Rice University. Then, she worked as a Senior Engineer in the Department of Research & Development at Intel Corporation in Chandler, Arizona (2017-2019). From 2019 to now, she is a faculty member at College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Hunan University. Her research interest is focused on 2D materials for energy storage and conversion.

Biography: Chunyu Cui received his B.S. degree (2013) and Ph.D. degree (2020) in College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Hunan University. Within his Ph.D education, he spent two years, as a visiting student, at University of Maryland, College Park, USA, from 2017 to 2019. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School from Mar. 2021 to Jul. 2021. Then, he joined Fei group, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan University at Sep. 2021. His research interest focuses primarily on building batteries with higher energy density though designing functional electrode-electrolyte interfaces.
